MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE
DUPATTA AND WAYS TO WEAR IT
Many
people send us emails asking what a dupatta is and what are the ways one can
wear it. So we are going to write more about the dupatta. Though normally
co-ordinated with a salwar kameez suit, dupattas today are even sported with
tank tops and pajamas, or evening dresses.
Though the drape is the key to enhancing a dupatta's beauty, there is no
real rule as far as draping it goes. The most popular method remains the
simple drape thrown over both the shoulders with the centre of the garment
close to the neck, but with urban practicality taking over as the dominant
trend in fashion, the best choice of a drape would be one that's easy to
carry off and allows you freedom to move. That is why we love Indian Fashion
- you get a dress that reflects hundreds of years of history, craftsmanship
and tradition - yet you get the freedom to wear it as your heart desires!
Even though we will mention a few ways to drape your dupatta based on your
body type, but as we said - Be bold - experiment and find out different ways
of using the dupatta - as a dupatta, as a sarong, or use it as a tie-around!
Make up your own rules.

dimension

Short and sweet

About average

same side
